Death in the Gulf Stream

Ingredients

serves makes 1 cocktail, active time 5 minutes, total time 5 minutes

• Peeled zest and 1 tablespoon juice from 1 lime
• 4 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 teaspoon simple syrup (optional)
• 3 ounces genever (see note above)

Procedures

1. Fill a tall chimney-style glass nearly full of crushed ice. Add the lime peel, lime juice, bitters, and simple syrup (if using). Top with Genever and stir. Serve immediately.
