Income Tax Cocktail

Special equipment

 cocktail shaker, cocktail strainer, citrus juicer

Ingredients

serves makes 1 cocktail, active time 5 minutes, total time 5 minutes
  • 1 1/2 ounces gin
  • 3/4 ounce dry vermouth
  • 3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice from 1 orange
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Garnish: orange wheel (optional)

Procedures

  1. Add gin, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth, orange juice, and bitters to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake until well chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange wheel and serve.
